What does a completed application package consist of?
Scholarship application via website.
Resume - Extra Curricular Activities, Leadership Experience, Community Involvement and Work Experience (If Applicable).
One (1) Letter of Recommendation (Letters will not be accepted from family members or friends).
Official High School Transcript.
Acceptance Letter for the college you will be attending in the Fall of 2026.
Late or Incomplete application packages will not be considered.
When are scholarship applications due?
Scholarship applications and supporting documents must be received by Tuesday, June 30, 2026 by 11:59pm EST. Late or incomplete application packages will not be considered.
Where can I send the supporting documents?
Please email all supporting documents (resume, letter of recommendation, and official transcript) in one PDF document to: voescholarship@gmail.com
Documents MUST be received by Tuesday, June 30, 2026 by 11:59pm EST.
When will applicants be notified of their status?
Only those recipients who receive awards will be notified of their status on Friday, July 17, 2026 via telephone and email.
When will the funds be disbursed to the recipients?
Awards will be disbursed directly to the recipients. The scholarship awards will be paid over the course of two semesters with the first installment being distributed in the sixth week of the first semester.
Can I apply if I am a current college student?
No, these scholarships are for students entering college for the first time in Fall 2026.
